christmas cards
This holiday season I've had a bit of trouble thinking of how to go about sending Christmas cards and making gift tags. In past years, I have made my own with blank cards, paint, stickers and so on but all these things I bought. This year I want to take a different approach and make them with supplies I have already at home. Though I know I can't necessarily avoid buying some things, I want to try hard to not be wasteful.
Do you have any ideas or experience with this? I have a few spare bits of card from cereal boxes and such and a bit of ribbon, tape and coloured paper. Your thoughts?

Well, I always wrap my gift either with Newspaper and Hemp, or parchment paper and use fun stamps. Hope all is well! XO
ReplyDeleteNewspaper is a great idea - if only I didn't read it online!
ReplyDeleteBut I'm going camping this weekend, so it might be a nice idea to buy the big weekend paper and read that in the sun. Hmmm.
thanks C.
i got the best card where the sender had recycled the christmas cards she had received in the past and cut them into the shape of a simple christmas tree.....star on top, long triangle and rectangle on the bottom....and then glued it onto thick white/cream cardstock. it was finished off with just a simple christmas wish inside. loved it
ReplyDeletehave fun with whatever you decide to do :)
