welcome to duo

duo is about thinking twice about the number of ways things can be recycled, re-used and re-purposed. It's about discovering a simple and manageable approach to sustainable living, covering fashion, design, art, food and travel.

The motivation to create duo came out of an 'eco-uncertainty'. Since terms like eco and green seem to be used to market any and every product on the market, duo is about finding out new and true ways to be sustainable without the 'eco-hype'.

duo is about learning how all things can have 2 lives and how to think twice about it.

duo looks at the things we live with in our everyday lives (the clothes we buy, the homes we live in, the food we buy, cook and eat and so on) and how we can give all of it an extra life.

duo was created by Brigitta Ryan in January 2010.
